SMS reminders and opt-in

Memento Mori sends optional weekly reminder text messages. Consent is collected on this website through a separate checkbox that is unchecked by default. SMS consent is optional and is never a condition of creating an account or of purchase — you can use email reminders instead.

How you opt in

  1. Step 1

    Create a free account

    Account creation asks only for an email address and password. No phone number is requested and no SMS consent is collected at this stage.

  2. Step 2

    Choose SMS reminders

    In onboarding, or later under Settings → Reminders, you choose your delivery method. Email is the default. Selecting SMS reveals a mobile number field.

  3. Step 3

    Enter your mobile number and tick the consent box

    The consent checkbox appears directly beneath the number field, separate from Terms acceptance, account creation and purchase. It starts unchecked. The exact wording shown beside it is reproduced below.

  4. Step 4

    Receive one confirmation message

    After you save, we send a single confirmation SMS. You never need to text START.

Frequency, opt-out and help

  • Message frequency: up to 1 message per week. There is no daily SMS option.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop all SMS reminders.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email support@getmementomori.com.
  • You can also switch SMS off, or withdraw consent, under Settings → Reminders and Settings → Privacy at any time.
  • Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
